We are first and foremost a public agency, funded by public
tax dollars. Our fundamental mission is to protect people
and property from flooding through responsible and efficient
storm water management.
To achieve this lofty goal the District has developed and
adheres to an explicit philosophy - Strive for excellence

engineering organizations and policy makers - Require
accountability at all levels - Accord respect, recognition
