The District's Information
Technology Division is comprised of eleven employees
and provides the following services to District
personnel:

| Applications and
Database Development |
This group
designs and develops databases and
applications in support of our
internal clients in addition to
developing the District's public and
Intranet web sites. Many custom
engineering applications have been
developed including systems to track
our
bids and payment of our
construction projects, flooding and
illegal discharge complaints, and a
system to track the status of
Developer Projects.

Geographic Information Services
|
The District has
been developing its Geographical
Information System for almost twenty
years. We have many layers completed
including our facilities, flood
zone, encroachment permits and many
others. We currently utilize Oracle
Spatial and Intergraph's GeoMedia
products and offer GIS to every
desktop at the District.

Administration and Support |
| This group
supports the network infrastructure
in addition to the District's 180
desktop computers (hardware and
software) and multiple Windows
servers running Remedy, Fleetfocus,
e-mail, Work management system and
document management. |
